The Tenth Combined Grand Shared Kathina Offering Ceremony was held at the Myanmar Theravada Buddhist Vihara (Moscow) on Saturday, the 16th of November, 2024, at 10:30 AM, corresponding to the 1st day of the waning moon of Tazaungmon in the Myanmar year 1386.
The ceremony was jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Russian Federation, the Myanmar Military (Army, Navy, Air) Attaché Office, and officer trainees from various universities. The event was led by Excellency Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister, and Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, and his wife, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla.
Following the ceremony, the merits accrued from all these virtuous deeds were shared and transferred, through the water-pouring ritual, for the benefit and alleviation of suffering of all sentient beings in the 31 Realms of Existence.
It is our prayer that this meritorious deed serves as a potent supporting condition for all the donors and benefactors to ultimately attain Supreme Enlightenment.
